Ohio Senate Passes Bill to Stop Infanticide, Protect Babies Who Survive Abortions
Ohio | October 28, 2021
The Ohio Senate overwhelmingly approved legislation Wednesday to stop infanticide by ensuring that babies who survive abortions receive basic medical care.
State Senate Bill 157 passed in a 25-6 vote and now heads to the state House for consideration.
The pro-life bill would create penalties for abortionists who fail to preserve the health or life of a child who survives an abortion. It also would require abortionists to report to the Ohio Department of Health when a baby is born alive in a botched abortion.
“The bill acknowledges the simple fact that regardless of the circumstances surrounding his or her birth, every child deserves our compassion and care,” said Sen. Terry Johnson, R-McDermott, a physician and the lead sponsor of the legislation. (Excerpts from LIFENEWS.COM)

Students at Ohio University: Pro-Life Group ‘a Danger to the Student Body’
Ohio | September 14, 2021
The student newspaper editorial board at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio criticized the school for allowing a pro-life group to be established on campus because it poses “a danger to the student body.”
The Observer newspaper titled its editorial, “Case For Life is a danger to the student body — the failure of CWRU to protect its community.”
The editorial reveals students have embraced the narrative promoted by the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood, that promotes “bodily autonomy” for the mother but not the unborn child, which the authors refer to as a “group of cells.”
The editorial says, in part:
This goes to show that despite the outrage by the student body and despite the fear that Case for Life instills, the university continues to refuse to take action. To put it simply, CWRU does not care about its students. If they actually cared, they would have immediately considered concerns about the student body’s immediate safety and the broader school-community impacts, and they would have easily determined this organization to pose a danger. Case for Life may have voiced their opposition to sidewalk counseling through an Instagram Direct Message (even though there is nothing to hold them accountable to that); however, they do not contest participating in protests outside of clinics or other forms of imposing their views on vulnerable people within and surrounding the CWRU community. Case for Life says its mission is to “protect and promote respect for all life,” and they commit to a “nonviolent approach in all that [they] do.” But protesting outside of an abortion clinic is inherently violent; preying on vulnerable people who, no matter the circumstance, have chosen to do what is best for their life violently threatens their privacy and their right to make that decision. This organization does not value the pregnant person’s life… (Excerpts from BreitBart)

Ohio’s Vaccine Lottery Didn’t Increase COVID-19 Vaccination Rate: Study
Ohio | July 18, 2021
A study has suggested that Ohio’s pandemic-related lottery, in which people who had a COVID-19 vaccine were entered into a $1 million prize drawing, wasn’t effective.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has frequently touted the alleged success of the state’s Vax-a-Million lottery since it was rolled out several months ago. Children who get vaccinated were entered into a drawing for a full-ride scholarship at one of Ohio’s universities.
Several other states have also offered prizes for individuals who opt to receive the vaccine.
But a new study from Boston University’s School of Medicine compared Ohio with other states that didn’t offer a lottery incentive. Using data procured from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the researchers found that Ohio’s lottery program “was not associated with an increase in COVID-19 vaccinations.”..

Ohio Governor Signs Bill Banning Schools From Mandating COVID-19 Vaccines
Ohio | July 16, 2021
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed legislation into law on July 14 preventing public schools and universities from requiring people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine that hasn’t been fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus vaccines manufactured by Modera, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson are being administered under the FDA’s emergency use authorization. The vaccines haven’t been fully approved by the agency, although some federal officials have suggested in recent weeks that they will be by the end of 2021.
The law, House Bill 244, will take effect in 90 days and specifically targets COVID-19 vaccines, prohibiting public schools, universities, and colleges from forcing “an individual to receive a vaccine for which the United States Food and Drug Administration has not granted full approval.” However, by the time the law goes into effect in mid-October, most public school and college students will be back in class…
